I have always been drawn to recording moments of discovery, the small details around me, the way the light falls and forms around a subject; both life in its glory and in its mundane.  It is often in capturing those moments unique in space and time that I hope to share the things we sometimes forget to notice.  My goal is to bring the viewer the joy and fascination that can come from encountering life in its simplicity and in its complexity.

I've called the Pacific Northwest home for over fifty years and never tire of the beauty that is found in this region. With a career in the coffee industry, I've been fortunate in being able to make several journeys to coffee-producing countries including Central America and East Africa.
